Foshan Furniture Mall Atrium Fabric Cover

Project Description

Foshan Furniture Mall was the largest furniture fair in China when it was completed. The total construction area is 2 million square meters. The atrium canopy features a 89m dia. tensile fabric structure and weighs totally 680tons. We used Saint Gobain SF-I as its canopy fabric. The canopy consists of 32 units and each unit is up to 370sqm. To place the canopy on top of the roof, we need to lift it 50m to place it in position. This process took more than a month's time.
