Guigang stadium has a 47,000sqm floor area. It is commissioned by local government. Xphili proposed the "Lotus" design. Lotus is also the city flower. The desing consists of east and west grand stands. Xphili took on this project as a turn-key job. It used about 1800tons steel. The 2 grand stands used 23,160sqm fabric. It features a 47m span cantilever and 56.8m construction height. The tensile fabric structure is designed to withstand 120km/h wind speed. The whole construction took 2 years.
